New jewellery work on the bench… I wanted to design and make something that could take me from day to dinner/party… a long chain/pendant for summer… for me…!
just clean and modern to go with a black or white vest, leather belt, maxi skirt and silver thong sandals….a more grown up classy urban boho vibe. Looking at motifs from vintage wallpaper, soft geometric patterns, Japanese lacquer objects, Elizabeth Blackadder prints and Prada flowers even! Based on a series of templates that can stack in a range of metals they may even end up being ‘dip dyed’ ( partially oxidised silver) and some embossed copper with repeat patterns and some brass with a scratchy distressed satin finish. Paper prototypes tested…cutting metal today… I’m having fun!!!
